Deleting your data
How to remove data from the CRM, depending on who you are. See the privacy policy for what we keep and why.
If you are a lead or customer of a business that uses the CRM
That business decides about your data. Ask it to delete your details, or reply STOP on WhatsApp to stop its messages. You can also email us at hello@cloud9digital.in with your phone number and the business’s name, and we will pass your request on and confirm when it is done.
If your organization connected WhatsApp
- An administrator can disconnect the number in WhatsApp → Settings. We delete the access token straight away and stop receiving the number’s messages. Chats and their files already in the CRM stay with your leads. To have them deleted, email us as described below.
- You can also remove the CRM’s access in Meta: Business Settings → Integrations → Connected apps, then remove the app. We then lose access at once.
If you signed in with Facebook to connect WhatsApp
We do not store your Facebook profile. We receive only an access token for the WhatsApp Business account you chose, and its business, account and phone number IDs, which belong to your organization’s connection. To remove our access, disconnect the number in WhatsApp → Settings, or remove our app in Facebook Settings → Apps and websites, or in Meta Business Settings → Integrations → Connected apps. To have the data deleted, email hello@cloud9digital.in from your organization administrator’s address; we delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
If you want your organization’s data deleted
- Email hello@cloud9digital.in from an administrator’s address, with your organization’s name and whether you want everything deleted or only certain data.
- We confirm it is you, and may ask you to export anything you want to keep first.
- We delete the data within 30 days and email you when it is done. Backups roll over within a further 30 days.
If you want your own account deleted
Ask your organization’s administrator to remove you, or email us from the address you sign in with. We delete your account within 30 days. Records your organization needs to keep, such as who handled a lead, stay with your name removed where the law allows.
